The development team have come up with some exciting new capabilities for our Pepper Robot. As you can see from the video, having already trained Pepper to welcome guests, learn their faces, check the appointments calendar and email their hosts, they have now added a media control module that enables Pepper to give and control a powerpoint presentation…

All you need to do is type the things you want Pepper to say directly into the powerpoint slide notes section and Pepper will automatically read them before clicking onto the next slide. Pepper can launch videos and other media within slides, control the audio and the robot’s voice can be controlled for speed and intonation.
