The DV Signage Graphics Augmented Reality application is a simple way to bring the power of AR to your environment.
DV Signage operates across the full range of Augmented Reality solutions. In the application showcased here, we have printed a special large scale custom graphic with different AR triggers seamlessly integrated within the design.
The graphic has been mounted on the wall in a Customer Experience Center. Visitors can use their mobile phones, or one of the tablets provided, to scan the camera over the graphic and experience different onscreen interactive digital pop-ups. The application brings to life different supporting media to enhance the client experience.
Whether printed or on screen, an Augmented Reality enabled graphic, allows an AR application on any tablet or mobile phone to scan for immediately recognisable computer fingerprints. The AR application then triggers a digital response, perhaps opening a URL or initiating a media download.
Even-though the graphic is printed, the information remains flexible, as we can quickly change or adapt any of the links within the program.
Similar augmented reality capability can be created using head-up displays in products such as the Daqri Smart Helmet / Glasses or Microsoft Hololens, where the tablet or mobile phone is replaced with a dedicated headset.
